This spring, The Running Place kicks off the season with exciting events, including the Love Run Half Marathon and the Broad Street Run. The newsletter highlights the health benefits of running, such as reducing vascular age, and introduces the Beginner Running Class, led by Olympian Katherine Taylor, to help new runners prepare for a 5K. The McKaig Nature Education Center is featured as a scenic destination for trail runs or hikes. Weekly Monday Night Runs continue, with pizza nights on the first Monday of each month.
